The padding on this mount actually keeps my router from sliding around, which I didn't expect for the price. I attached it to the back of my TV stand and now the cords aren't a tangled mess behind the screen. The width knobs tighten down fine and it feels solid.
I was tired of my router just sitting on a shelf gathering dust, so I screwed this mount to the wall behind my TV instead. The width adjustment knobs let me tighten it around the router so it doesn't shift, and the padding keeps the plastic from getting scratched.
Screwed this under my desk to get the router off the floor and it's holding fine. The knobs tighten down well and the padding keeps it from sliding around. Wish the screws were a bit longer for thicker shelves, but for the price it does the job.
