Wasn't sure my 12.9" iPad would fit but the clamp handles it fine, and it swivels so I can flip between portrait and landscape without unclamping anything. The pole mount keeps it up off the desk, which freed up a ton of space.
The clamp holds my Fire Tablet rock solid on the edge of my drafting desk, even when I bump the table. Adjusting the angle takes a second, and the arm stays put instead of drooping. Finally freed up space on my actual desk.
